Palm Sunday occurred two days ago. It tells of a significant event in which Jesus participated in.

Palm Sunday is commonly associated with palm branches, which the people of Jerusalem laid out in from of Jesus’s donkey and proclaimed him Messiah. The Bible prophesized of this moment many years before it actually happened in Zechariah 9:9. The Bible tells of the triumphant entry of Jesus in the New Testament.

Many people thought that Jesus had come to be king of Israel and fight the Romans, thereby freeing Israel. However, Jesus came for a different reason, and as soon as the people realized that, they killed the man that they had welcomed into their city just days before. This was what the Bible prophesized about, and what Jesus came for: to die on the cross for our sins.
